This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard information when you access or use the DGHBOY Logbook mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy.
The Service is designed to provide personal accountability tools, scoring systems, structured self-improvement frameworks, community engagement, and educational content. In order to operate these features, we collect certain information that you voluntarily provide when creating an account or interacting with the platform. This information may include your name, email address, username, profile photo, date of birth, and any content you choose to submit within the Service, including numeric scores, accountability entries, community posts, comments, messages, images, and videos.
In addition to information you voluntarily provide, we automatically collect certain technical information necessary for the secure and reliable operation of the Service. This may include your device type, operating system, IP address, application version, usage patterns, and interaction data.
Certain features of the Service include public and community-based functionality. If you choose to share posts, accountability entries, profile information, or other content publicly within the platform, that content may be visible to other users of the Service.
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. This includes creating and managing your account, enabling community interactions, processing subscriptions, providing customer support, improving platform functionality, enforcing our Terms and Conditions, and ensuring the security and integrity of the platform. We also use certain information, as described below, to deliver and measure advertising for the Service.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary payment. However, we use advertising technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, that share certain information with third-party advertising partners in order to deliver and measure targeted advertising. Under certain state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and you have the right to opt out as described in the "Your Advertising Choices" section below.
Payment information is processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store or have access to your full credit card information.
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Service, analyze usage, and deliver and measure advertising.
Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"). The Meta Pixel collects information such as your IP address, device and browser data, the pages and content you view, and actions you take on our website, and transmits this information to Meta. Meta uses this information to deliver targeted advertising to you on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta services, to build custom and lookalike audiences, and to measure the performance of our advertising. Meta may combine this information with information it already holds about you. Meta's use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy, available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Analytics. We may use third-party analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how users interact with the Service. These tools collect information such as your IP address, device and usage data, feature engagement, and general geographic region. Some of this information may identify or relate to you or your device rather than being fully anonymous. This information is used to analyze usage patterns and improve the Service.
You may opt out of interest-based advertising and the sharing of your information for targeted advertising in several ways:
Residents of California and certain other states have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region that requires prior consent for non-essential tracking technologies, we do not activate the Meta Pixel or other non-essential cookies and tracking technologies until you provide consent through our cookie banner. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and doing so will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before your withdrawal.
Your data is stored using secure cloud infrastructure providers and protected using commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.
You may delete your account at any time through the application. Following account deletion, your data will be retained for up to thirty (30) days to allow for recovery. After this retention period, your personal data may be permanently deleted from active systems, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or operational continuity purposes.
Users located in jurisdictions that provide data protection rights, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of their personal data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. You may exercise these rights by contacting support@dghboy.com.
